A counselling session is your time and space. You can talk about whatever feels important to you -whether that's current challenges, past expereinces or feelings you find hard to express elsewhere. I will listen without judgement and support you in exploring your thoughts and emotions at your own pace.
Thats completely okay. Many people feel unsureof where to start. You dont need to have everything figured out before coming to counselling - sometimes just showing up is enough. We can begin wherever you feel comfortable.
Yes, What you share in counselling is confidential. The only exceptions are if I am legally required to break confidentiality or if you are at serious risk of harm to yourself or others. This will be discussed further if you decide to work with me.
There's no one size fits all answer. Some people benefit from just a few sessions, while others prefer long term counselling. We will regularly review our work together so you can decide what feels right for you.
Its natural for counselling to bring up strong emotions at times. This is often part of the healing process. I will be alongside you to support and guide you through these moments safely.
